Free Day Care/After School Options in Arlington, TX

Tarrant County Kids, which is the sister organization for Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, provides free daycare/after school programming for children ages 4-12 in Arlington, TX. This is a great resource for families as day care tends to be quite expensive. Research has shown that a good afterschool program helps children stay out of trouble and avoid risker situations when parents are still at work.

On school holidays and summer break, you can also have your children take part at TCK.

“Before and after-school programs providing safe, affordable, and convenient licensed care for children ages 4-12 in the Arlington ISD elementary schools we serve. Tarrant County Kids also provides all-day care during most school holidays and breaks.

During the time spent in our program, your children will be engaged in educational and enriching activities that will allow them to have fun after a long day at school. A good after-school program choice can build a positive foundation that will last a lifetime for your child and give you peace of mind while you work!

Children are served a nutritious snack (provided by Arlington ISD at no charge to the parents), allowed time to complete homework and offered a wide variety of activities to choose from to make their afternoons enjoyable.

Enrollments for Adams, Andrson, Berry, Bryant, Burgin, Corey, Ditto, Ellis,, Foster, Fitzgerald, Hill, Johns, Kooken (ages 3-4), Little, Morton, Williams, and Wood can be completed electronically by emailing the enrollment forms to receptionist@girlsinctarrant.org.

Enrollments for Crouch, Farrell, Larson, Patrick, Remynse, Starrett, and West must be notarized prior to submitting the forms electronically. You can schedule an appointment to complete the process in person at our administrative office.”
