SIGNify: Our District’s Winning App!

We had some absolutely amazing software applications submitted by the students of District 30 for this year's Congressional App Challenge!

While the top 3 winners were separated by a very small margin, our first place winners were Mahesh Natamai and Arjun Vikram from the School of Science & Engineering at Townview Magnet in Oakcliff!

They created an app called "SIGNify" which helps those who speak sign language communicate with those who don't.

Mahesh & Arjun's app will compete against the district winners of other offices across the nation.

Our second place winners created an app which connected students to internships and jobs, and our third place winners created an app which helps the homeless identify shelters with space.

Congratulations to each of our students! Check out SIGNify being demonstrated below; it will make your day!
